The impact that Loefah had on Dubstep and Bass music in general is hard to overestimate. Together with Mala and Coki he put together the legendary DMZ parties and record label which was key in bringing Dubstep from the small parties in South-London to clubs and festivals all around the world.
What makes Loefah extra special is that instead of picking the fruits of what they pioneered in many years ago, he totally switched the sound around again a few years ago and together with people such as Ramadanman, Addison Groove and others he’s responsible for the recent big switch into Juke and 4/4 beats in UK Bass music, one that’s once again being copied by producers and DJ’s from all around the world. We wanted no other for our 5 years celebration, Loefah is symbolic for Dubstep’s evolution.

Kwesi Darko aka Blue Daisy is a name that’s being championed by many. Mary-Anne Hobbs, Pitchfork, Mixmag, Clash Magazine: they all love him. Some call him UK’s answer to Flying Lotus and MOJO even called his debut album “The No. 1 Electronica album of the year”. He however remains as humble as they come and describes himself as “just a London boy with a passion for music\\\\\\\".
PELICAN FLY (Label showcase)

The Pelican Fly label is representing Brussels and Belgium in a big way with their blend of hip hop and bass music. Their releases are being played by the biggest players in the game and covered by quality blogs and magazines like Fact Magazine and XLR8R. Label owners DJ Slow and Mr Tweeks will be on the 1’s and 2’s, repping the Pelican imprint.

Describing the sound of Title in this short bio is hard, so imagine a packed room filled with people raising their hands into the sky to his sweet melodies followed by them going apeshit when the drums and basslines hit the floor. We had him on a Dungeon Outdoor but just had to ask him again, we absolutely love this guy.

What Oneman is on an international level is what these 2 guys are doing in our tiny country. Both of them are loved and respected massively by DJ’s and heads all around the nation, as their skills and selection are impeccable.
POLDOORE (Cold Busted)

Opening the night with his sample based beats and sounds, Poldoore is your go-to guy when it comes to that good leftfield stuff. He just released his first EP on the Denver based Cold Busted label and is planning on releasing a debut album there in the near future too. Smooth stuff!
